Retreat: Eight Steps to Happiness

This weekend retreat is based on the book 'Eight Steps to Happiness: The Buddhist Way of Loving Kindness' by Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso. We will get to know all meditations that lead to a mind of love and compassion for all living beings, and if we have already some familiarity with these meditations than this retreat will offer us the opportuntiy to deepen our experience of these meditations.
We must learn to cherish all living beings because developing love and compassion is the best method to solve all our problems and fulfil all our wishes, both individually and collectively. By practising these meditations in our daily life we can become someone who removes negativity from this world and gives back love and kindness.
Between sessions there is plenty of time to walk and enjoy the South Limburg countryside or to simply relax in the garden or to read in the World Peace Cafe.
